Comments:

The Draw Bridge Inne is a kitschy place in the heart of Mystic and had a jazz trio playing the night we were there.

We started the meal with salads and stuffed mushrooms. I don't mind a restaurant that doesn't make their own croutons or grate their own parmesan , but not when it tastes that way. The croutons tasted as though they had been poured out of a box that had been sitting on the shelf for a while and the parmesan was straight out of a shaker.

The stuffing for the mushrooms would have been better if it had been cooked a little longer. Surprisingly, the crab cake on lobster sauce was very good. However, Dan didn’t like his lemon sole.

We had planned to have a bottle of Chateau St. Michele with dinner but since the bottle didn’t arrive until after our salads and appetizers, we decided to order beer. This choice wasn’t any better. They didn't have Miller Lite so we ordered Coors Lights. Instead of two Coors Lights we received one Coors Light and one Bud (not even a Bud Light) served in hot mugs. I guess we should be thankful they were clean. It was a good thing we reviewed our bill carefully, because we had been charged for the bottle of wine that we didn't open. It was reversed but annoying nonetheless.

What can you expect from a restaurant that spells appetizers as "apitizers" on its menu.
