This restaurant was recommended to us by the concierge at the Lafitte Guest House. He told us to make sure to ask for the etoufee because it's really good and not on the menu. He was right. The shrimp etoufee was great. It had the perfect balance of shrimp, rice, and sauce. Dan had the pasta jambalaya. He didn't like it but thought maybe if spaghetti had been used instead of fettucine it would have tasted better.
The Old Coffee Pot is a quaint little patio restaurant located next to Pat O'Briens. Ask for Pearl.
