Meal Eaten: Breakfast/Brunch Lunch Dinner
Comments:
We had the breakfast bar and some parts looked like they had been left over from several days, it might have been better to order off the menu. The eggs weren’t scrambled hard enough, the grits were too buttery, but the sausage and biscuit were o.k. Dan thought the hash browns were too buttery and the fruit selection was bad. The watermelon was nearly white versus its usual delicious pink. We were horrified that the first set of silverware we received was caked in old food. The second set was clean but we were still a little leery.
As a former employee of Shoney’s from his high school days, Dan was distressed by the quality of the food but especially embarrassed for the dishwasher. Service was slow.
