Spaze had a beautiful decor in a lovely building, soft music, and not another sole in the place on a Monday night. That should have been our clue. The next clue should have been when Michelle ordered the house white wine and they were out. How can a restaurant be out of the house wine? Then, she asked for a carafe of red white and was told there wasn't enough house red to make a full carafe.

We ordered a spring roll appetizer. They were o.k. but Michelle doesn't like the glass noodles. Michelle had the pad Thai for dinner. It was good but came wrapped in an omelette. That seems to be the way many places serve pad Thai in Thailand. I had the deep fried soft shell crab with crispy garlic. I really liked this and it is one of my favorite dishes in Thailand.

We did have one surprise while eating. The waiter actually came back to the table during dinner and filled our water glasses. This is the first time this happened in the entirety of our stay in Thailand.
